Focus and Scope
The Sri Lanka Veterinary Journal (SLVJ) aims to share and discuss scientific information and new developments in the field of veterinary science, livestock production and allied sciences with veterinarians and researchers by publishing original research and review articles. Clinical communications, case reports, short communications, and letters to the Editor are also published.
The journal is also hosted on its own website at http://journal.slva.org
Publication Frequency
Two issues of the journal are published per year.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Authors of articles published remain the copyright holders and grant third parties the right to use, reproduce, and share the article according to the Creative Commons license agreement.
Archiving Policy
This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
